A year passed. Those who prepared the presents for the school gathered together to reconcile what was the cause of what happened.

As a part of “CAKE” (Artistic Organization for Radio and TV) at Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum 239 in Saint Petersburg, we wanted to come up with an art piece that shows what happens if dreams come true.

Iterate it.

At the “School Activ” recreational program to improve the life of the school, many were suggesting presents to our school (~100 years old). Presents varied from “making fireworks”, “planting a large tree in the middle of the school” to “presenting it an alive giraffe”.

At first, we just wanted to document this. However, later we came up with idea to get inspiration from Hitchcock and make this a horror story…

Make it.

We had a few hours to shoot everything. We ended up reducing the light to not care about things in the room that was not suited for such movie making. This also helped with the horror theme.

The plot spans conversations of all the people about how their idea must have caused fires (fireworks) or destroyed the walls (tree). The culmination became the absurd monologue of the giraffe (I helped with bodyart) himself being sad that he is probably the one to blame!
