Movement is the largest sign of life. Things transforming themselves in the 4th dimension of time are maybe the most interesting things for me. Some of them are below.

“Consciousness is only possible through change; change is only possible through movement.”
― Aldous Huxley, The Art of Seeing

“I move, therefore I am.”
― Haruki Murakami, 1Q84

It started small.

“Siranuysh” camp directed by Srbazan Abraham in Vayots Dzor, Armenia, where my mother (Naira Chovelidze) worked for me to learn and interact with kids from all over the world.

I first developed passion for Georgian Traditional Dances.

Through “Iveria” Georgian Cultural Organization in Armenia. I traveled abroad and won prizes at International Dance Festivals while improvising and learning from Liana Samadalashvili, our dance instructor.

Formal education.

I then received formal education at Barekamutyun Dance Studio under supervision of my favorite teacher Alla Usikovna Grigoryan, where the leading choreographer was Norayr Mehrabyan. I performed on the stage of Opera and Ballet Hall aft. Khachaturian in Yerevan, as well as many other stages.

Return to dance.

After a multi-year gap in formal education I came back to dance through Cardinal Ballet Company at Stanford.
